I still think he should start by taking a few brief seconds to thank Jake Tapper for having the courage to state on CNN right after Charlottesville that Trump specifically CONDEMNED the neo-Nazis and white nationalists when he said "good people on both sides," admonishing a 9-member panel not to use the Big Lie against Trump. (The Big Lie became the cornerstone of Biden's "campaign", had he run one.)

"We'll see how you handle yourself tonight, but that was good, Jake. I'm confident you'll be just as fair to me now as you were then. We'll see. Come on. Let's go. G'head."
