Is it simply being a descendant of Judah? If so, that would indeed make Jesus a Jew.

Is it exclusively upholding the Torah, while refusing further Divine instructions (i.e. The Gospel)? If so, that would indeed make Jesus NOT a Jew.
In all cases, Jews want nothing to do with either Jesus or his mother and openly disrespect both.
Edit: Jesus would be considered antisemitic, by today's standards.
