The VA sent me some test results for a blood test I took on 06/10/2024. They said my thyroid function is slow. They gave me a score of 4.90. Normal function is 0.35 - 4.00. I quit taking thyroid medication back on 03/17/2004. I wanted to establish a new base number. Well, I guess my new base number is 4.90. They also said my cholesterol is high. The gave me a score of 231. Normal range is 140 - 220.

So they want me to start taking medication for high cholesterol and slow thyroid function. I don't want to do it. The thyroid medication is not so bad, but I definitely don't want to start a cholesterol drug. Please advise.
