I brought up murder/kill because it caused a big issue for me once, and is very clearly an incorrect translation, and we should be pursuing after truth, not tradition. Neither of us knows the truth, and both of us are called to humility. The Catholic Church translated the Catholic Bible from Hebrew and Greek, and there is always room for debate on the best way to convey the source communication in a translation.

Many of the old worship traditions of the Catholic Church are much better than the modern popular practices.
