Don't get too upset about Springfield. SemperSupra and I just did a dig on it. It's a hotbed of Freemasonry. The Grand Lodge is there, along with other Masonic Lodges.

"At the turn of the 20th century, Springfield became known as the "Home City." It was a period of high activity by fraternal organizations, and such lodges as the Masonic Lodge, Knights of Pythias, and Odd Fellows built homes for orphans and aged members of their orders.

There was also some KKK activity there, too, at one time.

Mike DeWine is from there, as well.

Ohio has one of the largest Masonic memberships of any state in the country. And the lodges are mostly located in Springfield.
