(sidenote: 2007 we lived in a 4 story house in a suburb right outside denver and rent was 800 a month. we only moved because he had heart surgery and decided to give the house to his son's family to live in. But, you cant live in a doghouse in their backyard for that price today)
edit: another side note - i aint even mad at the reverse mortage because the bank was like "oh, they will die soon and we'll get that property cheap" but nope my grandpa was too stubborn for muscular dystrophys death sentence and he lived for decades and decades beyond what the doctors said he would. RIP buddy I miss being by your side.
