You can have a 20+ mph wind and at 100 yards, a 223 wouldn't deflect more than an inch. I shoot in these conditions all the time. In this case a head is a huge target, and it was stationary. Wind was absolutely not a factor. Trump's head movement, the inherent 3-5" accuracy of his (likely plinking grade) ammo he bought that day (even assuming his zero was solid), and the fact he was rushed played more into this than any wind. This wasn't Carlos Hathcock. The dude was so inexperienced he brought a rangefinder to a 130yd shot and blew his opsec instead of doing basic recon on Google Earth. Heck, out to 200yds, wind doesn't mean much. I can assure you, wind played a negligible factor here even for such a low BC round. The dude was an amateur, shooting like an amateur, and planned like an amateur. We're lucky his plan failed, but it wasn't good ol wind that saved us.
