Don't waste you time with them. They need to do this. There is a big gaping hole in them, a God sized hole, that they filled with political celebrities. It was never enough to fill the whole hole, but it filled it pretty good and for the easy times it was reliable. But when the hard times came, as we're seeing now, where God is telling them we need Him, they weren't enough. But they need them to be.

Getting involved is like opening your door to a tornado and get sucked sucked into it. In the whirlwind of their delusion you may or may not break free, and you may or may not inflict self damage. Unless you can do both cleanly, you shouldn't be messing around there.

Try divert focus to understanding God has won, and to emulate Christ in all you do. It's a real shame some people are resistant to His truth, because life is so much better and easier following Him.
