He didn’t have a spotter, he was alone. Did he leave his post to let his partner in or did he leave his post to follow Crooks? I’ve heard both reported. Did he even leave?

Was it him who unlocked the door from the inside after the shooting to let law enforcement first entry into the building?

Hell, he could/likley had a negligent discharge after he just realized he missed the President of The United States and was so flustered he shot himself in the commotion, bled in the bathroom, unlocked the door, then appears outside after the shooting.
