Yup. There's no evidence it hit the hardive as opposed to the motherboard some other part of the tower. If you shotat a computer tower, most shots wouldn't hit the hard drive at all. Maybe 1/3 of the time the bullet hits the hard drive.

And changing a hard drive or just buying a new computer seems to be a much easier way to solve the same problem .
