When I stopped doing photography as a gig, my backup backup backup rig could do up to 1/8000 shutter speed and could capture something like 60 continous raw frames over the course of a second. Plenty fast enough camera. If the photographer had the wits, as soon as they heard the snap or the report, press and hold the shutter button, almost a guarantee to capture the round if the camera is pointed In the right direction and the settings were dialed in. It does make one ask the question if the photog knew he was going to be capturing a rifle round ahead of time and prepped accordingly. Modern high end cameras can prob dump raw frames at this speed continuously for hours.
