Folks...the hackles on the back of my neck just stood up. Here's why: I am retired active duty and was employed by the U.S. Navy assigned to the Counter Remote controlled improvided explosive devices Electonic Warfare arena, C.R.E.W. for short. Initially they worked shipboard platforms frequency jamming systems into smaller mobile systems for overseas use in Iraq & Afghanistan against the RFIEDs that were threatening our troops at Entry Control Points to bases and mobile patrol platforms. As the jamming systems improved and became more powerful & successful, the program was tasked USSS support for VIP (POTUS, VPOTUS, Foreign VIPs, UNGA, etc.) missions which also included support for campaign (RNC, DNC) trails as needed.
OK, so the point is.... the jamming systems are very real and are extremely effective......
Because of the classified sensitivity of what I did, I will not reveal anymore on said subject. If I could see air coverage photos of Butler, PA on that day......

My position (2008-2018) was specifically in tihe Counter Remote controlled improvided explosive devices Electonic Warfare or C.R.E.W. for short. My division was specifically responsible for Program Managing said frequency jamming systems overseas in Iraq & Afghanistan against the RFIEDs that were threatening our troops at Entry Control Points to bases and mobile patrol platforms. Unfortunately, one of our systems was commandeered by Chaos in Action in Kabul ( U.S. Embassy) and refused our specialized Field Technicians access to it, but that's another story. We were on rotational assignments and if you happened to be back in CONUS, we were also "farmed" out to USSS as requested for VIP (POTUS, VPOTUS, Foreign VIPs, UNGA, etc.) to support said missions as well. Part of that mission was to cover campaign ( RNC, DNC) trails as needed. Sidenote Funny story on this... during a satan (oblabla) state of the union address, we noticed that SCOTUS justice RBG was having a difficult time hearing satan speak and she was sitting in the front row! Our USSS liason later discovered she had just been issued new technology in hearing aids that day and were RF powered... so we were jamming her hearing because the freq was outside the allowable... LOL OK, so the point is.... the jamming systems are real and are extremely effective......
