For as much as the Betty Ford clinic comes up, we’ve never really looked at it that I’ve seen.

  • Her father died when she was 16 - always either an early parental death or a young child death or early spousal death with these people
  • Married a likely installed presidential plant
  • Medal of Freedom award by G.H.W.B
  • BFC located in “Rancho Mirage
  • Cofounded BFC with an heir to the Firestone company
  • Firestone was originally named Feuerstein
  • Firestone was married to a Knickerbocker while Betty Ford’s maiden name had been Bloomer
  • Henry Ford made a car called the “999”
  • Henry Ford wrote an infamous book
  • Curious that Betty Ford would cofound a hospital with a man who had run around with Henry Ford, while supposedly having no relation and while both wives had been named for pants
  • Betty was allegedly addicted to diazepam. Hasn’t that been a medication with severe issues?
  • Lots of famous people check into BFC for “issues”. Given G. Ford’s possible CIA ties, could it be a Monarch center?
  • And just for fun, “Gerald Ford’s” actual name was Leslie King, so Betty took a name that didn’t even exist in “Gerald’s” lineage.

This is just from a quick scan from Wikipedia, I’m sure there is much better information available to make a better dive elsewhere, but some strange connections and highlights going off there.
