A Prayer (from 2 years ago, but still relevant.)
Allknowing Savior, you are awesome in your ways. It is awesome that you hear our questions and petitions and know us so well that you answer deeply. You go beyond what we ask to what we truly need. And you do it so gently, and yet so powerfully. We can "be still and know that you are God." Thank you for caring about and for us. Thank you for the truth that is everlasting and unchanging. Thank you that truth stands firmly and simply under scrutiny--and crushes the deceptions and deceivers. Lord, we lift up those who got caught up in the deceptions, that they would repent and turn back to the truth, to you. Thank you for your grace and mercy upon repentant sinners. Lord, continue to heal us and help us recognize your healing power. It is in your name, Jesus, we pray. Amen.
