Yeah, I figured with those comments, I’d add a comment for the sauce. 😁
I’ve been trying to post mostly text posts instead of image or link posts for occasions where I need to go back and add a reference or an (noted) update, since image and link posts don’t really allow for that without a comment that might be buried or missed. Also allows for adding a note to the noticing comment that the OP has been updated to address the issue. Under image/link posts, I would add a permalink reference link comment to the critiquing point, but there’s no way to go back and add that update to the OP like with text, so the issue has to remain unaddressed - hence the switch to text posts.
On a few occasions where I’ve had a comment that was just outright wrong and potentially misleading, I’ve tried leaving a comment under the critiquing point on what was done and deleted the original post - not my ideal way of managing posts, as audit trail and post history is important, but I also don’t want to spread misinfo or waste time.
Just thoughts on how I’ve been dealing with a few of my own posts, trying to work within the limits of what we’ve got, if it’s any help.
