This is a topic I'd like to research more thoroughly, however my basic understanding is as follows:

The mark of the beast = someone who yields themselves, either in thought (forehead) or in deed (right hand) to the system that the beast has established, in order to operate within society. This means that your faith must take a back seat to whatever the anti-christ demands of you. We saw countless persecutions throughout the Dark Ages precisely in-line with this. If you went contrary to the Bishop of Rome (the pope), you were slandered, robbed, threatened, tortured, excommunicated (banished), or killed. Also of note: Catholics were forbidden from communing with such "heretics", and also forbidden to exchange commerce with them, as this was seen as aiding and abetting the enemy. If you were a true Christian, or any non-Catholic, surrounded by Catholics, the inability to "buy or sell" would be deeply felt.

To me it is quite humorous that the phrase equates to 666 in gematria but this fact alone does not drive the point home so much as all the other boxes which get checked off. The anti-christ's characteristics are thoroughly exemplefied in the Papacy. If there is to be one final push by the anti-christ at the end of time, you will see high-tech versions of the various persecutions carried out during the Dark Ages by the Catholic church. There is simply no better template, neither is there another example in history which lasted longer than the duration of the Papacy's utter dominance over the known world.

As to the drivers license part, there's a law theory going around the "sovereign citizen" movement which claims that only truck drivers or anybody who gets paid to drive are the only people who need a drivers license. This may come into play here. Also, there are separate state ID's which can be obtained in lew of a drivers license, and this might also be a way around it.

Either way, when it all boils down, when the government requires you to break the laws of God in order to get a drivers license, that would be the point I'd say to exit society. The cabal does like to scare us with their mystical bullshit, and I'd include this in that category for now
