Call me a skeptic, and I hold a good deal of affection for GAW, but ... military intel?
I can only see one real possibility in terms of MI involvement.
When r/Greatawakening (reddit) was banned and purged, and anons and qpatriots fled to the four corners of the net, Q directed qtards to a particular VOAT channel.
When VOAT shut down, Greatawakening.win emerged as the most viable relocation station. Lot's of goats ended up here.
So I think there is some possibility that Greatawakening.win (on the backbone of the .win platform) has been protected and sustained as a Q-forum, but I do NOT see MI input or moderation as part of that possibility.
Why?
We're just not that good. As evidence of that, we've lost a LOT of anons and participants over the past several years.
Take a look at the TOP feed and select "Time Frame Filters: All Time" to see how true that is. Top posts were getting one or two thousand+ upvotes. Nowadays, a top post is lucky to garner a few hundred upvotes. That's an indication of participant attrition, NOT of participant growth.
The mod crew works hard (thank you mods) and the GAW community as a whole is still a pretty good place to visit, but the quality of the posts is not what it used to be (imo). "High effort posts only" is not really a functioning thing.
I don't mean to denigrate the valiant efforts of the mods in any way, but if GAW was actively being fostered and modded by Mil. intel, the quality would be much, much higher, imo.
That said, I think its possible that, as a small project, the platform and board have been sustained (supported) in terms of being kept online. But GAW has a tiny fraction of the importance that r/GreatAwakening once did, and also a tiny level of significance compared to VOAT.
5 or 6 years ago, the worldwide Q community was bursting at the seams and still in a very early phase. Nowadays, the Q community is massive, worldwide, and GAW is only a tiny fraction of it. The Q movement has been spread far and wide, and no one board is at the center in any sense of the word, unlike in 2018 or even 2020.
So, warm up your popcorn, enjoy the nice fireplace we have here, but don't indulge in visions of grandeur. The audience here is quite small. And we simply do not see that many (or any) of the more visible Q influencers or commentators here. That says something.
