Due to a comment here in GA I started a reply which got longer and longer and might be interesting also for others.
So here we go: SOME THINGS REGARDING BEER BREWING, ALE-WIVES AND HISTORY!
Drinking beer, wine, ale, lemonades, sodas is good, but the industry ruined it and a once healthy thing got addictive and harmful:
The value is in the fermentation not in the alcohol, carbonated bubbles or sugar taste!**
I think the good bugs in our guts crave healthy, fermented food and drinks, while the bad bugs make us addictive to the sugar, alcohol and carbonated stuff.
The cure to many diseases is cleansing the gut, avoiding sugar and healty foods easy to digest (see also fasting, Ivermectin, fermentated foods/beverages and sugar/cancer).
During the corona insanity I found a vid and articles regarding the beer of the Nubians:
They found bones of ancient Nubians containing high amounts of tetracycline, even small infants had high amounts of it in their bones. Then they came to the conclusion that it was due to the Nubian beer brewing, made from grain 'infected' with streptomycos or such. Due to that beer they were quiet immune against some diseases.
So I researched this subject further and it was quiet interesting: In an article they described that in the early middle ages in every town many or every women were brewers of "beer" = ALE. Due to the production process via fermantation it had a lot of healthy bacterias in it which provided health benefits.
The article went on to say that these women were the reason for the witch stereotype = the cauldron (for the brewing), the cat (to keep mice and rats away), the broomstick (to keep everything neat & clean and to stick it outside the house to signal "Fresh Ale Ready" and also the high pointed hat (to be seen in the market place).
In those times they drank more "beer" than water, because clean water wasn't available so they tell us. But probably it was, because such fermented beverages keep you very, very healthy.
Then came the institutionalized church with their monks and regulations that only monastries could do the brewery.
In my view that was then the reason the 'witch hunters' were led loose to 'regulate' the market. Interestingly also the Black Death raged in this time starting from the Khazarian city of Caffa in Crimea!

BREW YOUR OWN fermented beverage BEER, MEAD, ALE or LEMONADE (only as a start into this fermentation healing 'magic' - you will find more & better recipes yourselve):
3 Ingredient Homemade Fermented Ginger Beer
The beginner's guide to making home brew
Super easy fermented Juniper: Smreka a Bosnian recipe
Also research Water Kefir, Kvas and Kombucha and start your own SAUERKRAUT.
A bit fishy and a little off-topic: Make ancient Roman GARUM from fermented fish
Also research the use of clay amphores for wine making (in Georgia/Europe) and also for storage of water or other things. The shape of the amphores was providing natural circulation within the 'container', but also through the clay walls, when stored underneath the earth it has the absolute right cooling temperature etc. - Everything stays fresh, but good fermentation can also happen.
Traditions are very good and our anchestors were quiet smart without our 'smart' technology - All glory to God :-)
