My first guess was wrong. From the obverse side of the coin, possibly “Tyre” and “holy” and the guy on the coin possibly Alexander the Great. Prophecies in Isaiah 23, Jeremiah 25:22 and chapter 27:3-11 discuss destruction coming upon Tyre. ____ Tyre was part of the Phoenician empire and ancient king David sought their help to build the temple in Jerusalem. ____ God did not let David build the temple because David had too much blood on his hands as a warrior (and as a messed up ruler getting his general killed to cover up stealing the general’s wife Bathsheba).____ Anyways, David did the ambassadorial work and then Solomon had the temple built using pagan workers-masons of King Hiram of Tyre—-how could this be anything but Unholy? We know Solomon hand 666 talents of gold coming in as tribute, and his many wives brought in the many foreign gods with the child sacrifices.. ____ We are fighting this same battle! WWG1WGA! ____ P.S. Nebuchadnezzar had waged a siege against Tyre for 13 yrs. c. 586 B.C.E. Alexander the Great built a causeway of rocks to get to the offshore city-island of Tyre and he destroyed it 332 B.C.E. 21:12 multiple meanings: Matthew chapter 21 verse 12 where Christ chases out the Temple workers who 1) were possibly charging inflated fees for animals used in sacrifices and 2) as the temple used a shekel for temple taxes or contributions -the temple could have been charging a high exchange rate for other Roman currencies used in business by pilgrims from around the Roman Empire and in use for general commerce in the region
