More Vitamin D and liposomal C, Mary. Since I began a daily dose of vitamin D (5000 IU) I have not been sick once (I also spend 12 hours a day in the sun for 9 months of the year). Sometimes I get the first tickle as if a cold is coming on but then I add 50mg of zinc and its gone in a day.
Previously Id get a massive cold in November/early December and then again in March. I always figured it was the wet damp + weather changes associated with winter in Michigan. Now I know it was a weak immune response. Vitamin D/C fixed that.
Last D check I had during blood work my number was around 78 if I remember correctly. I think if you are north of 60 your are golden.
Another benefit of D is no low grade depression associated with the "winter blues". This cabin fever is associated with low D.
I do miss my wife babying me when I was sick though ;)
