My biggest takeaway from last night is that Harris performed well enough to lock herself in as the candidate. There won't be any last-minute tricks to replace her.
I think the strategy w/respect to Harris is to try and let time do it's thing on her. The more people see of her in real-world circumstances, the less thrilled they're going to be.
A confidence boost from the debate could draw her out in front of reporters & voters where she ends up putting her real positions & thinking on the record.
Ideally Biden would have stepped aside yesterday and folks would be getting time to evaluate Kamala in action..
