When we lived in upstate NY there were Guyanese natives who flocked to Schenectady to settle. They were literally invited in by the mayor. Even back then many years ago they were killing goats in their backyards to eat. The people of the city were disgusted. It was all over the news at the time. I believe they had to pass a law to prevent it from happening
