Indicator that part of the "setup operation" prior to Trump started in 2014. It likely would have been easier for Obama/Deep State to control Flynn and keep him quiet (per Security Clearance, NDAs, etc) if he was kept on the payroll. Firing him opened up opportunities for him to more fully participate in investigations into NONAME, Obama, Biden, and Clinton, imo. Dumb move by Obama that likeliy was NOT VOLUNTARY.
My opinion is that the military went active shortly after Benghazi during "election transition" in 2012 (rigged 2012 election may have been contributing event). Unknown if Benghazi or the sale of weapons shortly after is the redline that got crossed, but something activated the military or put them on standby. It is possible that July 14, 2013 Smith-Mundt revision was another redline even if Patriots are currently using propaganda for their own purposes at the moment. Note that Flynn's tenure straddles the runnup to the 2012 election, including the Benghazi time period and other possible trigger dates.
