Is this something he can do without the support of Congress? I'm legitimately asking, because I don't know all the laws involved in this.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love for that to happen. But I have to wonder why he didn't do that in his first term, if it was that simple. It makes me wonder why he didn't do many of these things he's saying now, in his first term.
I know I'll get some flack for saying this, but it worries me that when he says stuff like this...that it's nothing more than typical empty campaign promises.
It's like people are forgetting how Congress is useless at everything other than blocking whatever Trump is trying to get done.
So are we expecting to get rid of not only the democrats in Congress, but also the RINOs and Never-Trumpers?
I'm not trying to doom, or be negative, but I'm really worried over some of this stuff.
I've constantly seen it said that the entire reason the 2020 election happened the way it did was because people had to wake up, and we had to get to the precipice where things got so bad that there was no doubt that the old system needed to be torn down.
For a long time, the predominant theory was that there was going to be a severe economic crisis and we would go back to the gold standard and the reason Biden is currently in office is because it would be bad optics to have Trump in office during the collapse. He was supposed to come in and save the day and usher us into the new system. I think I can safely say that this is not going to be happening before the election.
So...are we still going to have this economic collapse? When Trump will be in office to take the blame for it? Or do we just get to skip over all that?
If there was supposed to be a precipice to wake people up, and have them see that these huge changes were necessary, how likely is it that it's going to happen in the next two months?
If that precipice doesn't come before the election, then what? Are we going to need to let 2024 be stolen as well, in order to have time for this precipice, whatever it may be, to happen? Because by looking around, it's obvious that there hasn't been a huge increase in the number of people awakened since 2020.
The most common viewpoint now seems to be that it's unthinkable that Trump will lose this election, and that the plan is for him to win it in a landslide and that anyone who says differently is a doomer or shill. But that was the same thing we thought in 2020. It wasn't until well into the Spring of 2021 that the idea that Trump lost on purpose started to gather steam.
I can't recall a single person who, during the 2020 election, was saying that Trump was going to lose the election (or have it stolen), but it was ok, because that was all part of the plan and it needed to happen. All through the election, through all the recounts, through all the lawsuits, through J6, through all those alternative dates where it was said that Trump was going to be sworn in, through all of it, I feel confident in saying that everyone here was 100% certain that Trump was supposed to be in office. Just as certain as they are now that he'll win in a couple of months and will finally be able to fix the country.
So...if the reason for 2020 was to wake people up (in whatever way) and that hasn't happened...what now? Where does that leave us?
I don't know if I'm looking for reassurance, or if I'm just trying to work all this out in my head, but this is the stuff that's been weighing heavy on my mind lately. I don't know, maybe I'm just in a funk and need to step away for awhile in order to get some perspective.
Anyway, if you've made it all the way to the end of this, thanks for listening to me ramble.
