"They" which are demons don't take on their own physical form (except in an illusion sort of way) - they possess human beings with the human's physical form. Blood is definitely involved in some way. God tells us not to interact with spiritual beings, period. We are not to seek the "secret knowledge" etc. This is to keep us safe. All interactions with the spiritual realm outside the protection of Jesus Christ puts you in GREAT DANGER. They are there, ready to grasp on to your soul. We are NOT to interact with them at all. Want to be safe and protected? Jesus Christ is the ONLY way.
