Excellent analysis. Unfortunately satan is the power behind these different tiers of conspiracy...demonstrated by what he tempted Jesus with. This authority was obviously only given to satan temporarily because God is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent...perfectly sovereign. Satan's power is only limited by God's supreme authority.
