This. Did anyone notice this years ago? I noticed it on my own a few months back, by total accident. Have been trying to get the word out. It’s absolutely mind blowing.

I saw one claim that they did marry back into the “Semitic” line through Esau, who would be the line of Edom, but haven’t refound that source. If that claim is true, they would be semetic, but still not of the line of Judah.

There seems to be a good chance that they were a thorn in Rome’s side as well, and that they came into the Persian empire through the sacking of Babylon. It’s like anyone who goes to war with these people, whoever they are, ends up becoming them.
