Had to be slightly underground detonations because there was no Mach Y stem effect. Always skeptical about nukes, but there is nothing else that I know of that produces a column of fire. There is a maybe of a new thermobaric. The nukes would have to be small, but we have been going small for quite some time.
How are we supposed to get in the mega ton club with pop gun nukes.
