I've been wondering the very same thing. What would happen if people who were told by fucking FEMA, who is not my boss or yours, to stand down when clearly there was great and urgent need for the help being offered and available...what if they did it anyway?

Civilian and military both.

You military folks can step in if you would. If you disobey an unlawful order, isn't there some kind of protection? Obviously, I'm not in a position to make that kind of choice: do the right thing and help, accepting the consequences for your life and that of your family....or follow shitty and actually evil orders while people suffer and die.

It sucks. I pray for the courage of a LION to come rushing into every human soul on this planet. We can't let ourselves be intimidated by them any more. If we're gonna win this, we all have to throw caution to the wind and just pitch in where we can, even if it means risking our own peace and sometimes even well being.
