I tried getting a job at a busy grocery store as a cart clerk. I can bring in 7 carts at a time by myself. My intension was to demonstrate that I could do the job and that they should consider me above all the other applicants. After all, none of the other applicants volunteered any of their time. I put in 29.59 ours over a stretch of 7 days. My little scheme came to an end today. Management finally noticed me bringing carts into the store and asked me to leave; however, I didn't leave until after I pleaded my case and explained my intensions. I always figured one of three things would happen:
- They offer me a job
- They call the Police
- They ask me to leave
