Can confirm. Live south of Asheville and met many occultists and witches in Asheville. In Ashevill there is / was a retail witch utensil / goods store called Raven & Crone and other stores like it. They sold things like herbs, black mirrors, scrying orbs, tarot decks, magic books, and other witch / alchemy / magick (with a k) adjacent items. Only a place with a lot of witches can support such a store. I have been to this store, and had interesting convos with people there, just to get a feel for Asheville and the people there. They have in their bookshelves books by marshall mcluhan and carl jung; joseph cambpell and terence mckenna and more high brow stuff lke that...dvds like holy mountain and sweet movie....and of course demonic grimoires and stuff about john dee...these are high brow satanists if they are, not pop witches that curse trump with orange candles
The biltmore is a very dark place in terms of occult symbolism. And also there's lots of graffiti that suggest peopel have a higher than avg occult symbolic literacy...gnostic, masonic, alchemical, magickal type of symbols everywhere like theyr'e trying to create a kind of citywide hypersigitl in a kind of grant morrisony kind of way. Don't ask how I know these things, but to put it succinctly, research into people who are trying to create a one world gov't revealed to me that these same anarcho-corporate aristocratic people actually are alchemists/gnostics...not necessarily 'satanists' but actually believe in something even stranger and adjacent to but outside of the limited judeochristian model and something much more cosmopolitan, larger, ecumenical, vast...masonry and jesuitism and gnosticism intersect at some point, and it's the very same 33 / 77 signalling peopel we keep reading about every day
