I’m gonna throw some weird history for you. The Vikings worshipped Odin, the Mayans worshipped the god Votan. Anthropologist believe that they are the same God. The story of Votan in Mexico dates back to at least the late 17th century. The Bishop deciphered the Mayan codex & according to their religious mythology, their god Voton came from the Middle East & his uncle built a large tower (tower of babel).

So, to an extent, I agree that a network of pagan transatlantic network existed; however, Columbus represents Christian Europe’s arrival to the new world & he is being demonized. I am not white, I am Latino ; I appreciate what the European brothers did for the Americas, saving us from the satanic Mayans & Aztecs. Whether you are Protestant or Catholic, you have to realize that his accomplishment is being demonized at flashpoint in a wider culture war.
