I’ve also heard it phrased like this:
The only thing that stays the same is change.
It’s their old-fashioned way of playfully saying that “Everything is always changing.”
But they prefer to say it in a more poetic/riddle/colorful way.
The way they use that quote isn’t exactly like this image post, but it still manages to work.
Because these images show this bird symbol being used by powerful societies, only slightly changing but ultimately it’s the same symbol still.
