That seems like an impractical dream. You'd have to retain some type of system to generate income otherwise how could you have a standing military? THAT you need! Maybe I am paranoid, but I really don't trust other countries and am willing to pay for certain things. Namely, a military first and foremost.

I would still want public roads maintained. I would want programs for the disabled. And benefits for injured veterans. And a reasonable educational program for children (not the bloated, money sucking, indoctrinating, failure they have now).

I want police. I want firemen. I want public parks maintained. I want streets to light up when it gets dark. I want clean water. I want my garbage picked up and the streets ploughed when it snows. I am sure there are other things I am not thinking of at the moment.

So maybe I don't want all taxes abolished? Maybe just set them at a reasonable level and not use them to line the pockets of crooked politicians?? Am I making sense?
