Quite a few people have become blindly obedient ideologues of their chosen ideology. It’s not exclusively a left-wing woke thing.

Regularly see some Libertarians for instance coping and seething in my feeds. About how Trump is going to execute Drug Dealers and plans on in their mind infringing on the Free Market with Tariffs and how they can never vote for a guy like that. Because doing that infringes on people’s freedoms. Or they plan on protest voting Ron Paul or something.

They then promptly accuse the more pragmatic of their number who plan on voting Trump as not being “Real” libertarians.
