When I worked at Denny's our fryers would go out every friday night during the bar rush. It cost us a huge bill every Sat. in overtime etc. Denny's kept getting on my case and said I should stop the fryers going down on fridays, like it was my fault. Finnaly someone came from the company came and witnessed. Straight up 10:00 sure enough both fryers went down. I then turned to them and asked how am I responsible? We got new fryers that week from a different company.
I think they sued them, I never heard the turnout.
Talk about customer complaints, out the roof. Even one complaint that is legit means no bonus.
