Mirrors recent dynamic within the Catholic Church, actually. All the left-lib types were all about defying and challenging JPII and BXVI whenever they upheld a bit of Tradition. But then, Francis. Now they're all clamping down on dissent--i.e. clamping down on Tradtion-- because "you have to obey the Pope."
