I have not done it, but if you make a map of all the House seats for each state, you will likely find that there are or soon will be at least 26 state contingents where Republican senators plus House members equal a majority of the whole Congressional "state delegation”. This is a safety to allow Trump to be elected in a contingent election in the House 26-24 where each state gets 1 vote based on majority Party Control. The Senate elects the VP in a contingent election, and with majority control already it would be Vance and not Walz.
Only candidates who receive electoral votes are eligible for contingent election.
