Find recent photos of DJT's right ear. I've seen some and there appears to be a very small healed nick in his ear.

The 5.56 X 45 mm cartridge has a bullet of small diameter, and the nick on his ear is very small.

As for the amount of blood, if you cut your ear, you get a lot of bleeding.

With a bullet wound, the bleeding may be less in some circumstances due to the heat of the bullet travelling at super sonic velocity, (approaching Mach 3).

A wound like this can be partly cauterized by the bullet, reducing blood loss.
