It wouldn't be such an issue if so many people didn't act like they were part of Trump’s inner circle and knew everything going on and were adamant that everything they were saying was certified 100% true and correct by Jesus Christ himself. And then whenever it's shown they were wrong, they just brush it off like it doesn't matter.

It's ok to admit you're wrong. It's actually a sign of maturity and integrity. But for some reason people act like admitting they are wrong is a sign of weakness or something. So they deny, deny, deny, or do some mental gymnastics to make it seem like it's a good thing that they were wrong.
