Z is asking for NATO membership in exchange for giving Russia the territories it has captured. Bad idea, being a member of NATO means Z can start the hot war back up and NATO Countries will be obligated to fight Russia in Ukraine with Nato Countries troops. Ukraine has a history of reneging on treaties they have made as well in the past.
