In principle an international Military Defense Agreement/Alliance isn’t a terrible idea. Especially with recent technological developments making Conventional Assets such as Nuclear Submarines, Tanks, Aircraft Carriers , or even distance. Many of which the U.S relied on to insulate itself from the rest of the world. And accompanying Military and Strategic Threats. Less valuable.

Frankly if I had to guess we’ll see an international Military Alliance of some form be created. Hell maybe they’ll just repurpose and rewrite the rules of NATO. There’s some evidence pointing towards Trump laying the groundwork for a replacement for NATO. Especially with many of the countries he visited throughout his first term.

And part of the funds in most of the Ukraine Aid Bills, if you look at allocations, have been going towards rebuilding U.S Domestic Military Industrial Capacity. Explosives Factories. Expanding Military Ammunition Plants. Etc. Granted it was comparative pocket change compared to the what was going to the politicians pockets. But still it was there. And as far as I’ve been able to tell. The Work on those factories actually has been and is going on as advertised.

Many of the nations who launched rearmament and Military expansion/overhaul plans since 2020 Have acted like it’s in response to Ukraine. But the actual timeframes of the plans are 10+ years or longer. Which would point to not being overly concerned about Russia. Despite the plans allegedly being launched in response to Russia

If the Alien thing actually plays out. And they are legitimately Aliens or Demons LARPING as Aliens or something.

An international coalition of countries armed to to the teeth to respond to off-world threats and incursions makes sense. And it would track with Countries launching Space Forces or their own equivalents. And upticks in Space Program investments
