The US House voted on H.R.29, The Laken Riley Act this morning and the Chair declared that the Yeas won. Then Rep Raskin (D) called for the roll call "Yeas and Nays". The Chair tabled that (I think), and the House is now in recess subject to the Call of the Chair.

Edit. House back in session and they are doing the roll call vote now. It passed. After that, House adjourned until 9:30am on Thursday, 01-09-2025.
