So, I spent last night almost 2 hours on a teleconference with one of the world's most based and honest insurance brokers.

Basically, how it works is your premiums are either being subsidized or paying for others depending on your age and income.

For example a 29 year old single man at 28k per year income will pay $68 bucks a month for a mid to high level health plan if they shop around. But the same individual making 100k per year will pay closer to $250 per month. Same risk but differing premiums based on income.

The Gov got in-between private health insurance companies and consumers and created a hidden tax, where those who make more money pay higher premiums than those that make less and the higher premiums are redistributed to pay off the coverage of the "underprivileged".

This is straight up Socialism as defined by any text book of worth and "We the people", the free and the proud, shrug it all off and go on about our day instead of lighting torches and grabbing pitch forks.
