The worldwide nuke war he spoke about happened on his line, but the inside scoop is that the virus he spoke about "that killed half the population" did NOT in fact actually happen on his timeline. Otherwise that would've left earth with quite a bit less people in conjunction with the nuke war.
"The virus" was the "alternative" that he relayed (as though it actually happened) to (military) people at that time that he knew were watching.
Again, one of those two had to happen.

"Where We Go One, We Go ALL" is a nod to the timelines (possible outcomes) converging into one sole outcome that is Ascension.
