It's hard if you take what is written, literally.
If you understand that much is written in allegory, and go within yourself to commune with God through Christ - as Christ instructed - then you begin to understand what Christ REALLY meant when he instructed us to love our neighbors as ourselves AND to love our enemies.
The distinction being the piece of God within them, NOT the shitty character they're playing in this life where his dog shits in your front porch every day and shoots his gun every Sunday night just as the sun goes down... And your sleeping infant, who's now wide awake, is crying... How could anyone love that?
They don't... his commandment gets ignored because nobody really gets it and here we are...oh and going within yourself is new age devil stuff, despite the Christ telling you that the Kingdom of God is within you... WITHIN... YOU.... Not in the clouds or some planet somewhere... within YOU.
But few listen... and will only go where they're told to go, for fear of doing something wrong... and that pesky debble...
