How do you account for the angles. Your shooter's gun is on a horizonta line significnatly below Kirk and he would have to shoot in an upward fashion, even if we assume he is using technology to aim from under his armpit as he is not even looking Kirks way.
We would also have to assume the hole in neck is an exit wound, since the guy was on the other side of the wound, so where would the entry point be?
If you will share with me the research that led you to your certainty then perhaps I could see what you are seeing, because what I have have seen is the grainy vid with distorted angles and the far away view from which I took the screenshot posted earlier....
