Agreed. I usually try to do so because I also don't have X/Twitter.

Just an fyi - to access X/Twitter from mirror sites:

  1. grab/copy the link address,

  2. put/paste the link address in the address bar,

  3. place your cursor to the right of the "m" of "x.com" or "twitter.com",

  4. erase/backspace to eliminate the "x.com" or "twitter.com",

  5. type in "nitter.net", "nitter.poast.org" or "xcancel.com" (without the "s), and

  6. hit enter/return.

Alternatively (if you find it difficult to edit within the url or just don't want to do it there):

  1. grab/copy the link address,

  2. paste the link address into notepad or anywhere you can edit and copy/cut text (like MSWord or a texting/messaging app [where you'd "pretend" to start a new text/message][my favorite])

  3. place your cursor to the right of the "m" of "x.com" or "twitter.com",

  4. erase/backspace to eliminate the "x.com" or "twitter.com",

  5. type in "nitter.net", "nitter.poast.org" or "xcancel.com" (without the "s),

  6. copy (or cut) the edited link address,

  7. paste the edited link address into the address bar of your browser, and

  8. hit enter/return.

So,

https://x.com/[userid]/status/[tweet#] (ex. https://x.com/realDonaldTrump/status/2004012442427277591)

and

https://twitter.com/[userid]/status/[tweet#] (ex. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/2004012442427277591)

become -

https://xcancel.com/[userid]/status/[tweet#] (ex. https://xcancel.com/realDonaldTrump/status/2004012442427277591)

https://nitter.net/[userid]/status/[tweet#] (ex. https://nitter.net/realDonaldTrump/status/2004012442427277591)

or

https://nitter.poast.org/[userid]/status/[tweet#] (ex. https://nitter.poast.org/realDonaldTrump/status/2004012442427277591)

NOTE: These alternate/mirror sites occasionally have issues that either require multiple reloads or that make them unaccessible (thus requiring the use of another alternate/mirror site).

Also, to access X/Twitter accounts use the same methodology:

https://x.com/[userid] (ex. https://x.com/realDonaldTrump)

and

https://twitter.com (ex. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump)

become -

https://xcancel.com/[userid] (ex. https://xcancel.com/realDonaldTrump)

https://nitter.net/[userid] (ex. https://nitter.net/realDonaldTrump)

or

https://nitter.poast.org/[userid] (ex. https://nitter.poast.org/realDonaldTrump)

NOTE: These alternate/mirror sites occasionally have issues that either require multiple reloads or that make them unaccessible (thus requiring the use of another alternate/mirror site).
