From what I’ve seen, it seems normal for both people who enter into such a marriage to have problems with it, even with both operating as Christians.

There are cultural and behavioral conflicts that are added to such a marriage, which is already difficult enough in the present day.

Edit: No animosity toward either, just stating my experience and received testimony. Blame it on the people in those marriages who’ve told me that.
