For those where the rain has hampered your big holiday plans, may I suggest one of the following for your viewing pleasure:
-
Band of Brothers - WW2 European Theatre of war
-
The Pacific - WW2 Japanese Theatre of war
If you haven't ever watched these, you're missing out. They're truly a masterpiece.
- Saving Private Ryan - WW2 Nazi occupied France - Illustrates what separates American soldiers from the rest of the world - We don't leave our people behind.
I'm thinking of watching some of the original V made for TV mini-series (1983)
I haven't watched it since it first came out in 1983...dear lord am I REALLY that old now?!
The classic story follows an alien invasion of Earth and spans a two-part miniseries, a three-part miniseries, and one regular season with 19 episodes. There's a 2009 adaptation too, but I'm skipping that for now...
FYI Bitchute appears to have ALL 1983-1984 content available... search "V series" & "V Final Battle" to find everything - yanno... for free
Also... Since AI is so prevalent these days... and people just LOVE all the fear prawn associated with it, why not crank it up a notch with the absolutely well done SciFi series: Battlestar Galactica from 2004-2009. "...following the remnants of humanity fleeing Cylon (AI) robots in a ragtag fleet." This one has it ALL - Action, Thrills, Romance and an Intense storyline that will keep you glued to your seat..high and dry. It's REALLY well done! (You can watch Caprica too if you want the prequel to BSG's main story)
Cheers frens!
Bonus: If you caught The Daily Dose with Josh Reid last night, he mentioned that Admiral with the mask @9 min mark... and also mentioned the movie, The Arrival Free admission...1:55:00 running time
